Three Tips For Joint Ventures Online

Joint ventures online help you build partnerships and build profits online.  However, I’ve found that many online entrepreneurs are hesitant about reaching out and starting a joint venture.  Here are three tips to help you overcome your hesitation and get going with your next joint venture:

1.    Find the win – win scenario as fast as possible. You have graphic skills, while your potential partner is a killer marketer.  How do you both win by working together?  The faster you can define this point, the faster you and your partner will both be well down the path to a fruitful joint venture.

2.    Clearly define responsibilities. Though you can define partner responsibilities on the fly, you will be able to avoid many joint venture pratfalls by defining core responsibilities up front.  Taking ownership for tasks ensures that they will be accomplished by the partner with the best skills for the job (or the most concern that XYZ task is complete and/or regularly monitored).

3.    Have regular evaluation points set up. Within your own business, you would have an ongoing evaluation program to guide letting the business grow or killing off an unprofitable venture.  Define these milestones from the start, and you will be able to keep profitable joint ventures going while pulling the plug on non-performing partnerships to focus resources elsewhere.
